Bandon Music Festival Sign Top Headline Acts for 2010 Festival
UP TO 20,000 music fans are due to flock to the west Cork town of Bandon this coming June bank holiday weekend for the annual Bandon Music Festival.
The festival is now in its 14th year.
The outdoor concerts will be held at the Shambles (Allen square ) on Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th June -
Music will also be provided in pubs throughout the town on the ‘Music Trail’ and during the day on the streets.
A mix of contemporary, trad and rock, the Bandon Music Festival has deservedly carved out a reputation for being one of the best music festivals in the country.
In addition to attracting the hottest headline acts, the Bandon Music Festival also has the distinction of having the very finest local, national and international trad and folk musicians flocking to the west Cork town for the weekend.
Throughout the three days of the festival sessions can be heard coming out of every nook and cranny in town. And it’s these friendly sessions combined with top headline acts as well as outdoor entertainment that has made Bandon a Mecca for music fans for over a decade and a draw for all the family.
